Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a Grantham school. The role is full-time, temp to perm, starting immediately, with hours 08:30–15:30 and 1:1 support with students who display disregulated behaviour.

You will need resilience and energy, with experience of working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs, and a clear commitment to safeguarding and high-quality education.

Qualifications

• Must have recent experience working with children and young people, particularly SEND/SEMH.
• Energetic, resilient and capable of engaging pupils with challenging behaviours.
• Passion for education and safeguarding commitment.

Aspire People are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH needs in a school located in Grantham, Lincolnshire. This role is to work full-time, on a temp to perm basis starting immediately! The working hours are 08:30 - 15:30 and you will predominantly be working 1:1 with students who show disregulated behaviour.

The role requires high level of resilience and we are ideally looking for people who are energetic and have experience of working with children with social emotional and mental health needs.

Teaching Assistant role & responsibilities:
