Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in NG24. You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored learning activities and build confident, inclusive classrooms.

The successful candidate will have experience with SEN, a patient and empathetic approach, and an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service. The role offers weekly PAYE pay and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN in an educational setting.
• A patient, empathetic and consistent approach.
• An understanding of how additional needs can affect learning.
• Confidence adapting support to suit individual pupils.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, desirable.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
