Job summary

Clevedon School is seeking a compassionate and committed Literacy and Behaviour Support Worker to join the Student Support Department (Horizons). The role involves planning and delivering intervention strategies to support individual progress in behaviour and literacy for students with SEND, in partnership with students, parents, school staff and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Has experience of supporting children/young people in a work place or voluntary capacity.
• Can motivate and build rapport with learners whilst encouraging independence.
• Has a sound level of Secondary Education and evidence of relevant professional development and qualifications e.g. Teaching Qualification.
• Has recent experience of working in a school as a Learning Support Assistant or similar relevant child-focused role.
• Shares our belief that every child deserves the very best opportunities.
