Job summary

Clevedon School is seeking a positive Inclusion Assistant to join our Student Support Department, supporting SEND students to access, achieve and enjoy education and school life. As a key worker, you will collaborate with parents, staff, SENCO and other professionals to deliver personalised learning and ensure safeguarding, data protection and child welfare are central.

This permanent role is 37 hours per week, Term Time Only + 5 inset days, with a start date of 01/10/2026.

Qualifications

• Motivate learners and build rapport to support independence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound level of secondary education attained.
• Belief that every child deserves the best opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Advise on teaching and learning strategies to support SEND students.
• Act as a champion for the child, ensuring their voice informs planning.
