The Supply Register recruiting on behalf of Newcastle College Group is seeking SEND Learning Support Workers to support learners at Lewisham College, Southwark College and The Higher Education Centre. The role focuses on personalised assistance inside and outside the classroom to enable independence and full participation in education.

Flexibility and a person-centred approach are essential, with responsibilities ranging from one-to-one support to collaborative work with teachers.

Formación

• Experience in SEND or SEN schools
• Experience in Further Education or Higher Education settings
• Experience in colleges or educational environments
• Experience in care, support work, or healthcare
• Experience in youth work or community support

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND
• Assist students to access learning across a range of subjects
• Promote independence, confidence and personal development
• Support students with personal care where required
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students and staff
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider support team
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
