Job summary

Andover College is seeking a Learning Support Worker to assist students with Special Educational Needs within our Further Education provision. You will support learners 1:1 and in small groups, partnering with teachers to enable access to courses and activities across campus.

We welcome applicants who are patient, adaptable and able to build positive relationships. Training and development are supported in a collaborative, inclusive team that values student success and progression.

Qualifications

• A good standard of education, including English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
• Willingness to undertake further training and development.
• Experience with young people desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support students 1:1 and in small groups.
• Work alongside teaching staff in classroom environments.
• Support students in social spaces across campus and on offsite visits.
