Job summary

eXede Ltd in London is recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across Further Education colleges. You will provide 1:1 and small-group learning support, assist learners with SEND and EHCPs, and help them access lessons and college life across multiple locations.

The role requires experience in FE settings, safeguarding knowledge, and DBS checks; flexibility for location and hours; immediate start available through the academic year.

Qualifications

• Experience as LSA/Teaching Assistant in FE or similar
• Experience with 16-19 or adult learners essential
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service essential
• Reliable and professional with good relationships with learners
• Flexible regarding location and hours across London

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support to students.
• Support learners with additional learning needs, SEND and EHCPs.
• Assist students to access lessons, activities and college life.
• Work closely with teaching staff and the wider support team.
• Help learners develop independence, confidence and employability skills.
• Support with communication, organisation and engagement where required.
• Provide appropriate support with personal care where relevant to the role.
• Follow individual support plans and EHCP outcomes.
• Promote positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain safeguarding and professional standards at all times.
