Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a mainstream secondary school in Manchester. The role is full-time and long-term, starting ASAP.

You will support students with SEND, including Autism/ASD and ADHD, providing both 1:1 and small group support to help them engage with learning and develop independence in the classroom. The successful candidate will have a TA qualification (Level 2 or 3) and proven experience in a secondary school setting, with strong behaviour management

Qualifications

• Experienced Learning Support Assistant
• Experience supporting students with SEND essential
• Experience with Autism/ASD and ADHD highly desirable
• Experience in mainstream secondary school environment
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Patient, resilient and adaptable with a passion for helping young people

Responsibilities
