Job summary

South Staffordshire College is seeking a Learning Support Worker for Futures, a specialist facility at Rodbaston campus, to provide high-quality support for students with severe and complex learning needs.

You will develop education, communication, social, emotional and personal skills, enabling learners to progress to adulthood. A strong team player with experience in SEND will flourish in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with learning differences or disabilities.
• Knowledge of SEND and the Education Health and Care process is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning support to learners to develop education, communication, social, emotional and personal skills.
• Support learners in preparing for adulthood and progression.
• Work effectively as part of the Learning Support team to enable inclusive education.
