Job summary

South Staffordshire College is seeking a highly motivated Learning Support Worker to join Futures at Rodbaston campus. You will provide specialist support for students with severe and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, helping develop education, communication, social, emotional and personal skills to prepare for adulthood.

You will work as part of a dedicated team in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with learning difficulties.
• Knowledge of SEND and Education, Health and Care processes.
• Ability to work with young adults and adults with learning differences.

Responsibilities

• Provide first class support for students to develop education, communication, social and personal skills.
• Deliver personalised study programmes to help learners achieve their potential.
• Work as part of a team to support safeguarding and inclusive practices.
