Job summary

Childwall Sports and Science Academy is seeking a caring SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support pupils with SEND, including Autism/ASC, helping them access learning, achieve EHCP outcomes and thrive; work with teachers and the SEND team delivering interventions and promoting positive behaviour; provide one-to-one, small-group and classroom support.

The successful candidate will have GCSEs in English and Maths, experience with SEND and a commitment to

Qualifications

Experience supporting students with SEND, particularly Autism/ASC.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to inclusion and helping every student achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

Deliver interventions and support learning for students with SEND.
Promote positive behaviour and inclusive practices in the classroom.
Provide one-to-one, small-group and classroom support aligned with EHCP outcomes.
Work with teachers and the SEND team to monitor progress and adjust support as needed.
