Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant to work within Greenwich schools and specialist settings. You will support pupils with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties, providing a calm, supportive learning environment.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, collaboration with teachers and SEN staff, and helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills. Immediate start and ongoing opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND is desirable.
• Patient, resilient and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
• Reliable, adaptable and confident working as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Support pupils with learning and engagement in class.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills.
• Assist with individual education and behaviour plans.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.
• Provide a calm, positive and nurturing learning environment.
• Support pupils with challenging behaviour when required.
