Job summary

MidKent College is seeking an Enhance Learning Mentor for the Gillingham Campus. This permanent part-time role involves planning and delivering structured workshops for students with additional learning needs, informed by EHCP requirements, and supporting their progress across exam, life and employability skills.

Work with ALS/Enhance Leaders and Transition Coordinators to support access to learning, aid transitions, retention and achievement, and to promote independence.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering workshops for students with SEND or EHCP plans.
• Ability to plan personalised learning goals aligned with EHCP outcomes.
• Strong collaboration with curriculum teams and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, facilitate and deliver tailored workshops and 1:1 support for SEND students.
• Support EHCP target setting and progress reviews with staff and families.
• Liaise with teachers, parents and external agencies to ensure coherence.
• Utilise assistive technology and online resources to aid learning.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to PCAR processes.
• Promote inclusive culture across MidKent College.
