Job summary

Gloucestershire College is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable assessor/support role to mentor learners and foster an inclusive, supportive environment. You will help learners with SEND and EAL, empowering them to achieve their full potential and succeed in their studies.

The role emphasises building positive relationships, supporting English and Maths development where appropriate, and contributing to a culture of inclusion across the college.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent).
• Experience working with learners aged 16+.
• Experience supporting learners with English as an Additional Language (EAL).
• Confidence in delivering and leading learning sessions or activities.
• Experience supporting individuals with additional learning needs, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, and autism.
