Job summary

Odyssey House School in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated learning support worker to assist pupils with special educational needs. You will work under the direction of teaching staff to deliver learning activities to pupils with autism, anxiety and EBSA, within a nurturing and structured environment.

The role offers a supportive CPD framework, on-site parking at the Wokingham site, pension, and wellbeing provisions.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to support learning activities.
• Provide support for pupils with complex needs, including autism, anxiety and EBSA.
• Assist in 1:1 or small group work under teacher direction.
• Support pupils in developing social and learning skills and independence.
• Assist with classroom management and safe, engaging learning environments.
• Support pupils with communication needs and ICT-enabled learning.
