Macclesfield College is expanding its ALS department and is seeking a SEN Learning Mentor on a 38 Week Term Time contract, working 30 hours per week. The role focuses on supporting learners aged 16-19 with Special Educational Needs across the college, providing pastoral support and connecting with external agencies as needed.
You will liaise with parents and the safeguarding team, undertake attendance tracking, and assist in action planning and progression events to help students access

To work with learners across the College who have a Special Educational Need ensuring each learner has access to relevant support to gain work related skills and be able to achieve their potential. This involves, offering pastoral support and signposting to other agencies. The post requires liaison with parents and external agencies.
