Job summary

Ernesford Grange Community Academy in Coventry invites applications for a Teacher of SEND (KS3). The post is permanent, full-time, with MPS/UPS plus a TLR 2a. You will teach a KS3 class with a nurture approach, across core subjects, adapting the curriculum to meet SEND needs and support progress.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have a degree in a relevant subject, and bring experience in SEND settings and differentiation to deliver high-quality lessons.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with SEND experience and QTS.
• Knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies and differentiation.
• Experience working in SEND settings and nurture provisions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties of a subject teacher as per the Pay & Conditions.
• Provide outstanding, nurture-focused teaching across KS3 in a single classroom base.
• Adapt curriculums to support progress for SEND students.
• Deliver high-quality lessons across core subjects and support tutoring.
