Job summary

Stradbroke High School is seeking a SEND Intervention Lead to work with pupils across the local community. The role primarily delivers tailored interventions to small groups outside the classroom and provides targeted support while also assisting in classroom delivery when needed.

The post requires initiative, strong planning and organisational skills, and a commitment to students’ personal development. Term Time plus 1 week and a permanent contract are offered at SCP7–SCP11, with pro rata

Qualifications

• Commitment to working with young people
• Ability to use your own initiative
• Some experience delivering ASDAN/Life Skills or similar non GCSE qualifications
• Experience supporting small groups of students in lessons and/or one-to-one work
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored interventions to small groups outside the classroom and provide individualised support
• Support in the classroom as required
• Plan and monitor the interventions and track progress
• Commitment to wider opportunities such as trips or being a first aider is advantageous
