Job summary

Stradbroke High School is seeking a SEND Intervention Lead to work with pupils across the local community. The role primarily delivers tailored interventions to small groups outside the classroom and provides targeted support while also assisting in classroom delivery when needed.

The post requires initiative, strong planning and organisational skills, and a commitment to students’ personal development. Term Time plus 1 week and a permanent contract are offered at SCP7–SCP11, with pro rata

SEND Intervention Lead

Location: Stradbroke High School, Stradbroke, Eye IP21 5JN

Salary: SCP7 £26,403 - SCP11 £28,142 per annum. Salary Pro Rata: £19,173 - £20,799 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent, 31.25 hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week

The Role

The school caters for students of all abilities from its local community, including those with SEND. The successful candidate would mainly work with small groups outside the classroom delivering tailored interventions and individualised support though would also support in the classroom as required. They would be responsible for the planning and monitoring of the interventions.

The SEND Department plays a crucial role in the success of students and therefore a commitment to wider opportunities such as attending trips or being a first aider would be an advantage.
