Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of SEND with five+ years experience in SEND or related settings.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent relationship-building with a wide range of stakeholders; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team in a local area and work with education, health and social care colleagues.
• Coordinate work requests for the local area and ensure timely delivery.
• Hold face-to-face meetings with settings to offer SEND guidance.
• Chair the SEND local Triage and apply SEND knowledge to decisions.
• Be a core member of the Experts at Hand Teams and support countywide deployment.
• Attend decision panels and contribute SEND expertise to discussions.
• Represent the service in a wide range of forums.
