Job summary

Wiltshire Council is recruiting a SEND Lead Worker to join our SEND and Inclusion service. You will coordinate Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments and oversee EHCP reviews, with opportunities across Preparation for Adulthood/Post 16, community review and assessment teams.

The role involves admin within statutory processes and frequent local visits. We are seeking highly organised individuals with at least two years' experience in early years, social care, health or education and a Level

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 qualification is required.
• At least two years of experience in early years, social care, health or education.
• Experience working in partnership with children, young people and families, including those with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHNAs) and EHCP reviews.
• Oversee preparation for Adulthood/Post 16, community review and assessment teams.
• Manage administrative tasks within statutory processes and meet deadlines.
• Identify when specialist involvement is needed and establish contacts.
• Based at locality hub or conduct visits for at least 50% of the week.
