Job summary

The Priory Primary School is seeking an excellent teacher to join and help lead our established SEND Resource Base, supporting pupils with complex communication needs and autism within an inclusive provision.

You will work with the Inclusion Leader and SEND team to develop high-quality teaching, plan personalised learning, and lead teaching within the Hub, ensuring ambitious outcomes for pupils with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and demonstrates high expectations in teaching.
• Experience with pupils with SEND or in a specialist provision.
• Ability to adapt teaching and curriculum to individual needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with families.

Responsibilities

• Teach pupils with complex communication needs and autism within the SEND Hub.
• Plan high-quality, personalised learning aligned to EHCP outcomes.
• Create a calm, structured learning environment to support development.
• Assess progress and inform future teaching and provision.
• Lead teaching within the Hub and deploy staff effectively.
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and provision mapping.
• Collaborate with Inclusion Leader and senior staff to support pupils.
