Humberston Academy is seeking an inspirational and proactive SEND lead to join a passionate, high‑performing team. The successful candidate will help drive inclusive learning, coordinate safeguarding, and support students with additional needs within an outstanding academy renowned for personal development.

The role requires strong communication, dedication to CPD and the ability to work closely with teachers and external professionals to ensure excellent progression for all students.

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Commitment to CPD and professional development.
• Experience supporting vulnerable students and working with SEN.
• Ability to plan, assess and adapt learning activities with teachers.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students and parents to represent the Academy positively.
• Demonstrate proactive adaptability in changing situations.
• Collaborate within a team to deliver learning activities.
• Maintain high standards of organisation, confidentiality and safeguarding.
• Support and monitor teaching assistants and staff in delivering lessons.
