Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking an experienced SEND HLTA for a mainstream primary school in Birmingham. You will support five pupils in the SEND Hub during the morning and provide 1:1 reintegration support in the afternoon as they reintegrate into their mainstream classes.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, the SENCO and wider SEND team, applying a nurturing, confident approach to support learning, communication and emotional regulation across the school.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEND in a primary setting.
• HLTA status or substantial experience as an Advanced TA.
• Confident with small groups and 1:1 interventions.
• Strong understanding of SEND and impact on learning, behaviour and emotions.

Responsibilities

• Support five pupils in SEND Hub during morning sessions.
• Provide targeted learning, communication and emotional regulation support.
• Deliver 1:1 reintegration support in afternoon into mainstream classes.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO and SEND team to promote independence.
