Job summary

Rutland County Council is seeking a dedicated professional to join our SEND and Inclusion team to coordinate Education, Health and Care assessments and EHCP processes, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support in line with statutory requirements. The role collaborates with families, schools and partners to deliver SEND reforms and improve outcomes for children and young people.

The post holder will contribute to service improvement, maintain records, and support mediation and tribunal

Qualifications

• Experience in SEND, education, children's services, health, local government or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHNAs) and EHCP processes.
• Manage EHCP development, reviews and outcomes to reflect needs and aspirations.
• Ensure statutory timescales are met and maintain accurate case records.
• Support partnership work, service improvement and integration across education, health and care.
