Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council seeks an enthusiastic Teacher to lead and coordinate cases of children with complex needs, including those at risk of exclusion and with specialist medical or other needs. The role sits within a team of Specialist Teachers and inclusion practitioners working to improve outcomes for children, families, schools and settings.

You will line-manage inclusion practitioners, deploy resources, and collaborate with senior leaders county-wide, with travel across the county

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with experience in education inclusion and SEND.
• Experience supporting children with SEND, in particular SEMH needs.
• Ability to work autonomously and with other professionals; deliver training.
• Experience in line management or supervision of support staff.
• Knowledge of exclusion, attendance, and the SEND Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cases of children with complex needs.
