Job summary

Centre Academy East Anglia in Brettenham, Ipswich, is seeking a dedicated Behaviour and Nurture Supervisor to lead and supervise the school's Behaviour and Nurture Room. You will provide a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for pupils with SEND, promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing while supporting reintegration into class.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN environment is advantageous.
• Attendance of face-to-face interview is required and references will be checked.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Provide a calm, nurturing and structured environment for pupils experiencing emotional distress or behavioural difficulties.
• Support pupils in developing self-regulation and coping strategies.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and act as a consistent key adult.
• Supervise pupils accessing the Behaviour/Nurture Room throughout the school day.
• Support pupils returning to learning after incidents or absences.
• Deliver restorative conversations and reflective sessions with pupils after incidents.
• Contribute to behaviour support plans, risk assessments and pupil progress records.
