Job summary

Guardian Selection Limited is recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Support Manager for a specialist SEN school in Basingstoke. You will support student behaviour and wellbeing, building positive relationships and helping learners overcome barriers to learning.

Key duties include managing behaviour, working with the support team, and promoting consistent approaches across the school to develop life skills in students.

Qualifications

• Experience managing challenging behaviour.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience in SEN, education, or care settings desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage student behaviour.
• Build positive relationships with students.
• Support students during challenging or dysregulated situations.
• Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with wider support team.
• Maintain a consistent approach to behaviour across the school.
• Help students develop life and independence skills.
