Job summary

Walsall College is seeking an organised, proactive SEND Admissions Team Leader to join the Inclusive Support Service. You will lead and coordinate the admissions journey for applicants with SEND, ensuring a timely, person-centred experience from application through enrolment.

You will oversee statutory consultations, work with local authorities, families and curriculum teams, and ensure information informs placement decisions and effective support planning to help learners thrive from day one.

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and learner-focused SEND Admissions Team Leader to join our Inclusive Support Service.

In this key role, you will lead and coordinate the admissions journey for applicants with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring a timely, supportive, and person-centred experience from application through to enrolment. You will oversee statutory consultation processes, work closely with local authorities, families, and curriculum teams, and ensure accurate information is gathered to inform placement decisions and effective support planning.

You will play a vital role in supporting successful learner transitions into college, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive from day one.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities who is passionate about improving outcomes for learners with SEND.
