Job summary

Northern Star Academies Trust is seeking a SEND Administrator to provide essential administrative support across Lapage Primary School, Byron Primary School and Meadow Bank Community School in Bradford City Hub. The role is part-time, 22.5 hours per week during term time plus one week, with some flexibility for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to SENDCo teams across three Bradford City Hub schools.
  • Maintain accurate student records and update SEND Review documents.
  • Assist with SEND identification, assessment, monitoring, and reviews.
  • Coordinate referrals and arrange meetings with external agencies.
  • Organise rooms, appointments and screening assessments.
  • Communicate with parents/carers and coordinate Parent Forum meetings.
  • Prepare documents for EHCP applications and annual reviews.
  • Ensure SEND data is shared with teachers and updated.
  • Support SENDCo teams in communicating effective strategies to staff.

The SEND Administrator role is to work across our Bradford City Hub schools - Lapage Primary School BD3 8QX, Byron Primary School BD3 0AB & Meadow Bank Community School BD4 8DX.

Job Description

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a SEND Administrator to provide essential administrative assistance to our SEND teams across three schools within the Bradford City Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that our children with SEND receive the best possible support.

This is a part time role 22.5 hours per week, term time only plus 1 week. There is a degree of flexibility around the working pattern for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to SENDCo’s, including note-taking and organising files.
  • Maintain accurate student records and update SEND Review documents.
  • Assist with the SEND identification, assessment, monitoring, and review process.
  • Manage student referrals and coordinate meetings with external agencies.
  • Organise and book rooms, appointments, and screening assessments.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/carers and coordinate Parent Forum meetings.
  • Prepare documentation for EHCP applications and annual reviews.
  • Ensure SEND data is accurately recorded and shared with teachers.
  • Support SENDCo’s in communicating effective strategies to teaching staff.
