Job summary

Teach Lambeth group is seeking an Inclusion Leader (SENCO) in London to drive SEND strategy and inclusion across the school. The role includes leading the SEND team, coordinating CPD, and supporting pupils with SEND to achieve their fullest potential.

The post involves collaboration with SLT, overseeing provision mapping, and contributing to safeguarding and wellbeing initiatives. A 9-month maternity cover is offered with term-appropriate arrangements.

Qualifications

• Must hold the National SENCO qualification.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role within our school to ensure that all pupils with additional needs make good/accelerated progress in their learning and achieve to the very best of their ability.
• Work closely with the School’s Senior Leadership Team, taking a key role in promoting the school’s aims and ethos.
• Manage the SEND support staff team as line manager, coordinating CPD opportunities and delegating tasks.
