Philosophy Education LTD. is partnering with a Lambeth primary school to recruit an experienced SENCO for a full-time, ongoing position. The role covers coordinating SEND provision across the school, supporting pupils, staff and families to ensure every child receives the right support.

You will work with the Headteacher and Inclusion Lead to manage EHCPs, liaise with external professionals, and provide training to staff on inclusive teaching practices, in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualificações

• Qualified SENCO with primary school experience and SEND Code of Practice knowledge.
• Ability to work with staff, families and external agencies.
• Experience coordinating SEND provision across a school.
• Proven track record in improving pupil outcomes through inclusive practice.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate SEND provision across the school.
• Manage EHCPs, including applications, reviews and documentation.
• Engage with parents and carers to review pupil support.
• Liaise with Educational Psychologists, SLTs and other professionals.
• Maintain SEND records and monitor pupil progress.
• Provide advice and guidance to teachers and support staff.
• Develop and review individual learning plans and targeted interventions.
• Support staff development with inclusive teaching strategies.
