Zusammenfassung

Marchant Recruitment is working with a Lambeth school to recruit an experienced SENCO to lead and develop its SEND provision, ensuring pupils with additional needs receive the right support.

The successful candidate will coordinate SEND across the school, manage the SEND register, support teachers, monitor progress, coordinate EHCP reviews, and work with parents and external professionals to drive inclusive teaching.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in SEND provision, ideally as a SENCO.
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
• Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working with EHCPs and external professionals.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate the school's SEND provision.
• Manage the SEND register and maintain accurate records.
• Support teachers to meet the needs of pupils with SEND.
• Monitor pupil progress and the impact of interventions.
