Coba Education is seeking a qualified and accredited SENCO to work in a welcoming and inclusive primary school based in Wellingborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real impact on the educational journey of pupils with special educational needs.
The Role:
As SENCO, you will:
Lead the strategic development of SEND provision across the school
Coordinate support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities
Work closely with class teachers, support staff, external agencies, and families
Monitor progress and ensure interventions are effective and evidence-based
Manage EHCP processes and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Promote inclusive teaching strategies and staff development in SEND practice
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher with the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO)
Proven experience supporting pupils with a wide range of SEN
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Up-to-date knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice
A proactive, compassionate, and child-focused approach
