The Cambridge Park Academy, part of Humber Education Trust, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children aged 3-19 with a range of learning needs. The role involves assisting with personal care, implementing learning activities, and ensuring safety and inclusion across times.

The successful candidate will have SEN experience, knowledge of safeguarding, good ICT skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff. Visits to the school are encouraged.

Formación

• Experience of working with children, young people and/or vulnerable adults in a learning environment with multiple and complex SEN
• Understanding of National Curriculum, EYFS Guidance and safeguarding expectations
• Effective use of ICT to support teaching and learning
• Able to interact with courtesy, tact and diplomacy with colleagues and pupils

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and provide specialist support for individuals with SEN and health needs
• Support pupils with personal care tasks and independence in daily activities
• Prepare, maintain and use resources to meet lesson plans and activities
• Promote positive pupil behaviour and manage conflicts in line with school procedures
• Develop displays inside and outside the classroom
