Job summary

Cambridge Park Academy is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team supporting children aged 3-19 with a range of learning needs. The post is permanent, term-time plus 5 training days, and scheduled for 32.5 hours per week.

Start date is November/December 2026. The successful applicant will be willing to learn, adapt to changing situations, and work with pupils of all ages and disabilities.

Qualifications

• SEN support in learning environment.
• Ability to use ICT to support teaching and learning.
• Develop and maintain positive pupil behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and provides specialist support for individuals with SEN and learning needs.
• Assist pupils with personal care and health matters as required.
• Prepare and use resources to meet lesson plans and assist learners.
• Promote good behaviour and encourage responsibility.
• Develop displays inside and outside the classroom.
