Job summary

Park Hill Primary School seeks a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils in classrooms and the HIVE, ensuring access to learning for all. The role requires a Level 3 childcare qualification and a good understanding of SEND, with safeguarding and DBS checks part of the recruitment process.

The post is fixed-term until 31 August 2026, with a Monday to Friday pattern, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, starting as soon as possible. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification is required.
• Knowledge of SEND and ability to adapt provision to meet needs.
• Experience supporting learning gaps and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Support children in classrooms and the HIVE (specialist base).
• Help ensure all children access the same learning opportunities as peers.
• Contribute to safeguarding and pre-employment clearances as required.
