Job summary

Aspire People is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across primary schools in Spilsby and surrounding areas. You will support children with SEN, helping them engage in lessons and grow their learning within inclusive classrooms.

Role requires patience, a caring attitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A DBS (Enhanced) or willingness to apply is preferred, with flexible part-time and full-time options available.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with SEN is ideal but not required.
• Patience and a caring, positive attitude are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• DBS check (Enhanced) or willingness to apply for one.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for children with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher with personalized learning plans.
• Support communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.
• Aid physical tasks, mobility or sensory needs as required.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive environment.
• Encourage and motivate students to participate in lessons.
• Communicate progress with parents and staff and adapt strategies.
