Job summary

Aspire People is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support children with special needs in primary settings across Lincoln. You will work on a supply basis, providing one-to-one and small group support, and helping implement personalised learning plans to enable students to thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with special needs is advantageous.
• DBS check (Enhanced) or willingness to apply.
• Flexible and reliable to work on ad-hoc supply.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with SEN.
• Assist teachers with implementing personalised learning plans.
• Support communication, social skills and emotional regulation.
• Assist students with physical tasks, mobility or sensory needs as required.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive environment.
• Encourage participation in lessons and school activities.
• Communicate with parents and staff to monitor progress.
