Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in the South West London area from September. You will support children with SEN to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

The role involves 1:1 and small group support, working with teachers, therapists, and other staff; safeguarding checks including Enhanced DBS; full-time term-time position with ongoing training and a welcoming team.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or other additional needs is advantageous.
  • A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
  • Relevant education, care, support work, youth work, or psychology experience welcomed.

The Role
