Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for a September start at a specialist site in Guildford. The role supports children with autism and additional needs within either a primary setting or a newly opened provision.

You will deliver targeted learning activities, foster communication and independence, and collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to create a calm, inclusive environment. DBS checks and safeguarding training are required.

Qualifications

  • Previous SEN experience is essential.
  • Experience supporting children with ASC is highly desirable.
  • A calm, patient and resilient approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • The ability to build positive relationships and adapt to individual learning styles.
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity this September?

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded specialist education provider that supports children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning and communication needs. Due to continued growth and the opening of a brand-new specialist site in Guildford this September, we are looking to appoint passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of either an established specialist primary setting or a newly opening provision, helping to create an outstanding learning environment from day one.
