Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start in South West London, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs. You will deliver 1:1 and small group support, help students access learning, and work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.

The role is full-time during term time with ongoing training and professional development. DBS checks required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with children or young people is desirable.
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN, ASD, ADHD, SEMH or other needs is advantageous.
  • A patient, caring and resilient approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
  • Relevant education, care, support work, youth work or psychology experience welcomed.

We are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist school in the South West London area from September. The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
