The Esland Group Ltd in Congleton is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support learners with SEMH in a specialist setting. This part-time role offers 2 days per week with core hours 8:30am to 4:30pm and a pro rata salary of £23,520–£25,357 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

You will work in our SEN School and outreach provisions, helping students access a broad curriculum, supporting behavioural and emotional needs, and collaborating with a supportive education

Formación

• First aid knowledge and safeguarding awareness.
• Able to relate well to children and adults.
• Works constructively as part of a school team.
• Familiar with National Curriculum requirements.
• Proficient ICT skills to support learning.
• Aware of SEND policies and safeguarding legislation.
• Understanding of child development and learning.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Support SEN learners to access a broad, balanced curriculum.
• Work with individuals or small groups to aid learning.
• Assist with off-site provisions and transport when required.
• Promote inclusive practices and positive behaviour.
