Job summary

NG10-based SEN Teaching Assistant role in a primary setting, supporting pupils with Autism, MLD, SLD and Speech & Language needs. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils engage, build confidence and become more independent.

Immediate start, full-time term-time hours, and competitive daily pay (£105–£130) depending on experience. DBS Enhanced required or willing to obtain one. This role offers a rewarding environment in which to make a real difference.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is preferred.
• SEN experience or interest in supporting learners with additional needs.
• Patient, caring and resilient with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Supporting pupils with ASC, MLD, SLD, and Speech & Language needs.
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence and independence.
• Assisting with delivery of personalised learning activities.
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, teachers and parents.
• Helping create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
