Job summary

Empowering Learning is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work in North Yorkshire schools, providing 1:1 support and small-group assistance for pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and other needs. Roles include helping students access the curriculum, promoting independence, supporting emotional regulation, and collaborating with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams.

The Opportunities

Our schools are looking for support staff to work with pupils with a wide range of needs, including:

You could be working as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, supporting a small group, or working alongside the class teacher within a specialist SEN provision.

School experience is beneficial, but transferable experience can be equally valuable.
