Job summary

Empowering Learning is recruiting SEN support staff across North Yorkshire to work in mainstream schools, specialist provisions and alternative settings.

Roles include 1:1 or small-group support, helping pupils access the curriculum, and working with teachers and SENCOs to provide a calm, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as SEN support staff in schools or care settings.
• Ability to work with pupils with additional needs and EHCPs.
• Patience, empathy and strong communication with pupils, parents and staff.
