Job summary

Empowering Learning is seeking passionate Primary Teaching Assistants to join a network of North Yorkshire schools. Roles span EYFS to KS2, including 1:1 support, small-group interventions and classroom assistance.

A positive, patient approach and strong communication are essential to help children develop confidence and independence. Opportunities include full-time, part-time and flexible arrangements across multiple schools, with competitive daily rates and ongoing consultancy support

Your Role

• Reading, writing and phonics.

You will work closely with teachers and wider school staff to help create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working with children.
• A genuine passion for education.
• A patient, positive and nurturing approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to build strong relationships with children.
• Confidence working as part of a classroom team.
• The ability to adapt to different pupils and learning environments.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
