Job summary

Simply Education Ltd. is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with learning, confidence and development across Medway and surrounding areas. You will collaborate with teaching and pastoral staff to provide targeted support tailored to each pupil’s needs.

Roles may include 1:1 support, small-group interventions and classroom assistance, with opportunities across mainstream and specialist SEN settings in Medway and Kent. Flexible day-to-day and longer-term placements are available.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Experience supporting pupils 1:1 or within small groups
  • Confidence supporting a range of additional learning needs
  • Experience with autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour or complex needs
  • A patient, compassionate and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to support pupils both academically and pastorally
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing

Responsibilities

About You
