Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for Tower Hamlets to support students with Autism and other SEN. You will work within specialist schools, following IEPs, and collaborate with staff to help learners progress.

The role offers immediate start, full-time, long-term placements, and ongoing CPD training. A DBS check is required or applicants willing to apply will be considered. Competitive daily rates apply.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with Autism or other SEN in a school or care setting.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow individual learning plans (IEPs).
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new strategies.
• An up-to-date enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).

Responsibilities

• Support students with Autism and other SEN to engage with learning activities.
• Assist teachers with implementing IEPs and learning plans.
• Provide tailored support to individual students and monitor progress.
