Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a flexible, proactive Behaviour Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Tower Hamlets. You will support learners aged 11-19, with a full-time schedule and a daily rate of £100-£125 negotiable. Start ASAP.

You’ll deliver in-class behaviour and learning support across a varied timetable, respond to staff requests, and run short-term 1:1 or 1:2 interventions, plus assist with enrichment activities, trips, swimming and outdoor learning.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a special school setting is preferred.
• Ability to work flexibly with multiple classes and age groups.
• Physically active and confident supporting students with complex needs.
• Strong communication and a professional, team-focused approach.
• Experience with or resilience when managing challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent in-class behaviour and learning support across a varied timetable.
• Respond swiftly and professionally to behaviour support requests from teaching staff.
• Deliver short-term, targeted intervention sessions on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis.
• Support students during enrichment activities, school trips, swimming, and outdoor learning.
